Nightswim 2011: night of the dancing bubbles

21. August 2011: 28 degree air temp at 11pm, 23 degree water temp and the only 16 people in the world who understand, why it will be remembered as the night of the dancing bubbles. Not every experience can be put in words. That was one of them.

How cold (or warm :) is that water?

Well, because this event is rather meant for ‘Connoisseurs’ than show-offs, we prefer water temps above 22 degrees as well as above 25 degrees air temps for nightswims. The decision when nightswims are taking place is based on our indefinite Basel weather experience and the following links you can check yourself (yeah, check yourself! :-):

Check out the latest air and water temperature data from Basel here and if you want to know how things develop, check out the most accurate weather forecast for Basel downtown here, or a simple one here.
